On Monday afternoon the Berthoud high student council held a pep rally to talk about winter sports as well as host some fun activities for the students to take part in. At this pep rally students involved in swimming, cheer, basketball, robotics, and knowledge bowl were specifically talked about and some were given spartan gear such as rally towels. After this, three students were picked for a special activity. Two students from each grade wrapped their third peer in bubble wrap who was then challenged to shoot a basket and beat the other grade levels.

One of the most exciting aspects of this assembly was the school-wide Kahoot based on how well the students know the teachers here at BHS. Many cool prizes such as prize packs and spartan gear were given out to the winners of these fun activities. Berthoud High’s very own Mr. Hoepfner also competed against a student in a drumming competition. This competition was won by Mr. Hoepfner who now reigns as an undefeated drum champion. To wrap up this pep assembly, the girls basketball did tiktok dances in front of the whole school. Needless to say, this pep rally was one worth seeing
